| Merbok
MDF occupies approximately 40 acres. The 290,000 square
foot mill has two Siempelkamp ContiRoll continuous press
lines capable of producing 250,000m3 of MDF per annum,
equivalent to 50 twenty foot containers per day.

Commercial
production of rubberwood MDF began in September 1994 (4
months 10 days after installation of Line 1) and installation
of Line 2 began in August 1996 (production commencing
3 months and 20 days later). |

Reported
to be the two fastest-ever installations of such greenfield
MDF plants. |

Also
produces a wide range of Laminated products including
melamine impregnated papers, PU pre-coated papers, and
PVC. |

Export
of Merbok MDF products are through Penang Port, 60 kilometers
away averaging about 40 twenty-foot containers of MDF
products daily. |
